Birthday Party Tips and Information
Thank you so much for considering The Busy Bee for your child's birthday celebration! The following is some information and some tips when planning your party at The Busy Bee.
Each child will be supplied with a mini scrapbook that they can decorate and scrap their photos into. The album is approximately ten (10) pages (depending on what album is available). The Busy Bee will provide all of the scrapping materials needed such as the albums, cardstock, adhesive, stickers, punches, scissors and trimmers to scrap with. We recommend that each child bring 6-7 photos (NOT originals, please). Please make sure that the parents of each child are aware that these photos may be cut (cropped) and glued into the mini scrapbooks.
Birthday parties are preferred to be held on Sundays between 11am - 1pm or after the store closes between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. Parties during the week can only be accomodated Monday- Thursday outside of regular store hours.
We only provide the materials needed for scrapbooking. It is up to the parents to provide the paper products (decorations, table cloths, balloons, and food/drink). We try very hard to keep the cost down and feel that the parents may be able to find desirable theme oriented items at a more desirable price than what we may be able to provide.
We recommend the following:
* Please no open drink containers. We recommend juice boxes and water bottles. (We do not want anyone spilling their juice on their neighbor or their own work of art)
* Please do not bring ice cream. You are welcome to bring cake or cupcakes and snacks such as pretzels, potato chips, candies etc.
* We recommend six (6) weeks notice if you are interested in having a party at The Busy Bee. This is so we can assure there are adequate supplies and accomaodations for your party size.
